"So this week⦠we went from 'what's your skill?' to 'here's a full diagnostic of your nervous system⦠please rate it out of ten.' And I did it. I filled in the sheet. Turns out I'm a solid 7.2 overall. Basically the human equivalent of an emotionally intelligent Toyota Corolla.
My Physiology score is 6, because apparently coffee doesn't count as a vitamin. Emotions? 8. Because I cry strategically. Only after meetings. Never in front of platforms. Feelings? 4. I think I outsourced those to memes in 2016.
Thoughts? A clean 9. Because nobody overthinks more thoroughly, systematically, and with better font choices than I do. Habits? Well, I consistently forget to track my habits, so does that count as a habit? Performance? 10. Obviously. I've been performing since the day I figured out that 'I'm fine' is the safest lie in capitalism.
And then we had to dream our 1000-self⦠Which is wild, because apparently my future sovereign self is waking up at 6AM, doing breathwork, cooking quinoa, and saying things like 'I protect my mornings.' Meanwhile, present-day me just protected a packet of Parle-G biscuits from myself⦠and lost.
But the real trip? The real trip was realizing β I don't want to be optimized. I want to be intact."
